Open Parent Settings from the main menu and answer the grown-up question. Pick the hero, then choose Curriculum & Words. Type one word per line. You can add a clue after a |, for example:

Yes. In the same Curriculum & Words list, add a second | after the clue, followed by how the word should sound, spelled out. Spelling and matching still use the real word; only what’s spoken changes.

In Parent Settings, open Curriculum & Words and use the Spelling choice at the top. It applies to every hero on the device. On a fresh install with a non-UK English language setting, the game asks once when you first open it.

Open Parent Settings, then Backup & Restore, and choose Back up now. You’ll be asked to sign in with Google. The backup goes into a hidden folder in your own Drive that only this game can see. On another device, open the same screen and choose Sync from Drive. Heroes combine rather than overwrite, so nothing is lost.

In a desktop web browser, open Google Drive and choose the gear icon, then Settings, then Manage apps. Find Dungeons & Digraphs, choose Options, then Delete hidden app data. This can’t be done from the Drive mobile app. You can also remove the game’s access from your Google Account’s security settings.

Open Unlock All Features from the home screen or Parent Settings, and choose “Already bought this on another device? Restore purchase”. Use the same app store account you bought with.

Choose the hero, open Edit Character, then Hero Details, and pick the School year.

On the hero list, press the bin button next to the hero, then type delete to confirm. This can’t be undone.

It keeps settings, backup and purchases in grown-up hands. It isn’t a password, and an older child may be able to answer it, so it’s worth keeping an eye on.

No. Gold buys cosmetic extras such as tails, hats and colours. The one-time unlock adds capacity (more heroes and pets, longer weekly lists) and fuller parent metrics. It doesn’t change the words or how hard they are.
